In my thesis, I introduce a fresh research methodology rooted in the principles of call and response, with adaptability, creativity, and storytelling as its foundational pillars. Through the lenses of visual storytelling, experimental animation, graphic journalism, and fictional world-building, I demonstrate how these techniques can effectively bridge the gap between theory and practice. The Path Of The Initiate: In Search Of The Holy Grail Or Is It The Golden Fleece?, Jan Jagodzinski

Journal of Social Theory in Art Education

This was an irreverent/irrelevant staged performance wherein a schizophrenic Voice was presented through a dialogue that answered Itself as It moved from one side of a table to the other, speaking at Itself, sometimes to Itself. The audience was physically separated from the performer in a classical fashion: stage and audience. One end represented the Voice of personal memories as an initiate into conference life; the other end represented the jaded view of a Voice who bitterly questions the entire ritual. A tie was put on and taken off as the performer moved from one side of the table to …

RISD press was a student newspaper published weekly in the early 1970s, a self-described attempt at consolidating all the information outlets of the school, including the previous student newspaper, Montage. Beginning in September 1973, RISD press included the Brown Daily Herald’s weekly issue of Fresh Fruit as an insert. The issue of October 5, 1973 had an article about the RISD television and video studies and the set-up in the RISD auditorium. There was an article about unions for students and women at colleges who filed a sex discrimination suit against Tufts University. Also, an article about 3 photographers at …
