To understand why this is, it’s important to analyze Dimon’s leadership style and how this has impacted the performance of J.P. Morgan. This paper investigates the performance of J.P. Morgan Chase under Dimon, how his character embodies both a Transformative and Transactional leadership style, and how his leadership has transformed the culture and performance of J.P. Morgan today.
