The pervasive influence of technology has revolutionised numerous sectors across the globe, underscoring the need for a comprehensive evaluation of the tools that technology has engendered. Artificial Intelligence (AI), as a prominent technological tool, has exceeded expectations and proven immensely beneficial to humanity. Consequently, it is imperative to scrutinise the ethical and regulatory frameworks governing its application. This paper employs a doctrinal methodology to analyse the regulatory landscape and ethical guidelines surrounding AI technology in Nigeria and some selected jurisdictions.
