Emotional intelligence is an increasingly growing trend throughout businesses, and is extremely beneficial to the hiring process in particular. It can be defined as the ability to monitor one's own and others' feelings and emotions, and use the information to guide one's thinking and actions. This knowledge will help obtain better hires and ultimately strengthen the development of employees. It’s also an important factor for managers and all employees to have exposure to.
