Since the beginning of 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic has severely impacted many aspects of almost every industry worldwide. This paper will cover the financial effect that the Covid-19 pandemic has had on production crew members working within the theater industry. Research will be conducted through literature review, evaluating similar historical events and current discussions throughout the industry, and one-on-one structured interviews with production crew members who were financially impacted by the pandemic. Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) is known as an infectious disease that has a bigger impact on urban areas with high-density populations. In New York City, however, there are huge differences in the impacts of Covid-19 at the neighborhood level. In addition, there is a negative correlation between the Covid Case Rate and the Vaccination Rate, and areas that are affected the most have poor socio-economic conditions. To better address the equitable distribution of Covid-19 vaccines, I collected social and economic data from Community Health Profiles as well as Covid-19 data from NYC Health. Broadcast and cable networks are struggling to keep up with the multitude of entertainment options available today, including but not limited to streaming services. However, these networks still play a role in the entertainment landscape. In order to maintain their role, they must first assess which shows deliver higher ratings and why. Ratings indicate audience demand for a particular show, which can be unpredictable. The Impact Of Subreddit Comments On Daily Return And Volume, Joey Wong

This paper examines the subreddit WallStreetBets and its online weekday posts discussing stock market trades. By collecting data from the subreddit and Yahoo Finance, linear regression models are done using Rstudio to determine the relationship and impact that the number of comments has on percentage change in return and volume. This study concludes that when it comes to the relationship between returns and the number of comments, it is insignificant. However, we find that trading volume is positively and significantly related to the number of comments.
