This quantitative correlational research study aimed to address the lack of work-life balance among public accounting professionals, potentially resulting in burnout and increased turnover intentions. A lack of work-life balance, burnout, and turnover has long been associated with the public accounting profession. This study looked to add to the body of knowledge by looking specifically at Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) registered with the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy (TSBPA) who currently work for public accounting firms. This mixed methods research (MMR) addressed management's failure to give high-quality hospice care in healthcare facilities within the United States. Failure to provide high-quality care leads to issues with quality control and customer satisfaction. The researcher used an MMR design to perform a systematic survey of 96 participants in select U.S.-based hospice services management facilities. The medical records from the Research Institution organization were used to choose the participants. The total population was 1,300 from which 96 participants were randomly chosen. The purpose of this quantitative, causal-comparative and predictive correlational design study is to examine how workload, surface acting, work group inclusion, and emotional exhaustion impact African-American and Caucasian American managers in domestic, white-collar roles. This quantitative study examined the relationships between burnout, spiritual fitness, and organizational commitment in National Guard servicemembers. Recent deployments and chronic stressors have resulted in an emergence of mental health concerns, burnout, and turnover intentions in this population. Research has indicated that elements of spirituality address these concerns and suggest that more spiritual individuals are more resilient, less susceptible to burnout, and find positive meaning in work. Physician burnout is a three-dimensional work-related response to prolonged and unresolved stress. The prevalence of up to 50 percent is higher among primary care providers in the U.S. and is a significant healthcare problem. This qualitative multiple-case study explored workplace conditions contributing to physician burnout in Maryland State. In a purposive sample, the researcher interviewed twenty-one (21) physicians comprised of Medical Doctors (M.D.), Doctors of Nursing Practitioners (DNPs), and Nurse Practitioners (NP).
