This paper seeks to unearth the factors affecting the adoption of mobile banking in Bangladesh. Primary data from 630 respondents are collected from January 2021 to June 2021 using a structured questionnaire to accomplish this objective. The questionnaire contains 20 statements regarding the adoption of mobile banking. Gathered data are tabulated, categorized, and arranged to fulfill the purpose. The convenience sampling method is used to choose respondents from the Pabna district in Bangladesh. The paper aims to determine factors that make a significant impact on working capital management of a manufacturing company in Bangladesh. Of 221 service and manufacturing firms listed on the Dhaka Stock Exchange, 109 companies are chosen based on data availability for the five-year period 2014-2018. In this study, the moderating effect of board diversity on the complex relationship between corporate social responsibility (CSR) performance and financial performance is examined. The resource-based view of the firm and stakeholder theory are used as the theoretical foundation of the study. The hypotheses of the study are tested via fixed-effects regression using data for a sample of 1,234 firms and 5,102 firm-year observations for the period 2009–2013. This study examined the relationships and interactions between corporate governance and firm values of lodging companies with different characteristics. The companies were analyzed separately using a classification and regression tree (CRT) analysis. The analysis results did not show a direct relationship between value and governance, yet that does not mean there is no relationship between them. When the companies’ governance scores were similar, corporate governance showed no distinguishing variable on firm value but is a hygiene factor.
