Spotify is a worldwide music and podcast streaming company. Spotify has the most active users of any audio streaming company in the world and is a key competitor in a growing industry. It is important to evaluate the external environment and internal forces that impact Spotify’s strategic decision-making to identify opportunities and threats that could change the audio streaming landscape. After a thorough industry analysis and internal analysis of Boeing, it has been determined that Boeing should: pursue a nostalgic marketing plan where the company admits their recent mistakes and explains their solutions, focus on their market segment of defense contracts in light of both recent issues with Boeing's commercial airlines and impact of the airline industry due to COVID-19, and improve internal communications and human resource management by providing more transparent communication to Boeing staff and professional development programs with clear career paths.

Our research seeks to improve the operational effectiveness of Latin American transaction processing firm Evertec, headquartered in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The unstable economic status of Puerto Rico—as the site of headquarters and as the source of approximately 7% of Evertec’s total revenue—is of external concern, though there are promising technological trends occurring in much of Latin America. The risk of entry by potential competitors in industry appears high, but all other risks as outlined by Michael Porter’s Five Forces are low, indicating an attractive market. First, iPic's Blue Ocean Strategy, and the resulting value proposition and customer segments. Second, a comparison of iPic's activity map next to competitor, Carmike Cinemas.
