This study used two research models. The first research model was used to examine the effect of book value and earnings on firm value. Sharia Supervisory Board Reports (SSBRs) have an interest in convincing the public that entities supervised by a Sharia Supervisory Board (SSB) are sharia-compliant and reflective of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) practices. This research aims to examine the effect of CEO characteristics on pre-earnings manage­ment profitability. CEO characteristics include gender, tenure, age, education level, founding-family status, and nationality. Pre-earnings management profitability is measured by return on assets minus discretionary accruals. Data analysis uses firm and year fixed-effect regression analysis. The result shows that female CEO, longer tenure CEO, CEO with higher education levels, and foreign CEO increase firms' profitability without engaging in earnings management. As ageism could have detrimental effects in the ageing society, it is important to know how people of different age groups perceive ageing and successive ageing. This study collected data from 648 respondents aged between 18 to 80 years old for an age-based analysis of the perceptions of ageing and successful ageing. Self- administered questionnaires were used. Correlation analysis was conducted to examine the relationship between perception of successful ageing and factors associated with psychological well-being. The goal of this paper is to investigate the money demand function in Jordan by employing the ‎cointegration analysis proposed by Engle and Granger, and extended by Johansen. By using ‎Johansen procedure the relative importance of each variable explaining the money demand ‎function is identified.‎ Generally it was found that all suggested variables are nonstationary. Big Data methodologies are applied to understand subprime borrowers in the U.S. automobile space. The focus on the automobile market is essential as this subsegment is responsible for directly and indirectly employing over one million people and creating payrolls in excess of $100 billion annually in the U.S. It is found in this article that if a subprime borrower is a homeowner, the probability of repaying their auto loan increases by almost 4%. استهدف البحث وضع إطار لدور المعلومات المحاسبية في تقييم النظم الضريبية، وتطبيق هذا النموذج على الضريبة الموحدة في المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية مفترضا أنه يمكن تطبيق مفهوم النظم في الفكر المحاسبي على النظام الضريبي وإنه يمكن محاكاة منهج النظم المحاسبية في تقييم الأداء على النظام الضريبي.

وقد انتهى البحث إلى تحديد مكونات النظام الضريبي من مدخلات وأساليب تشغيل ومخرجات وتغذية مرتدة تتشكل في ضوء أهداف ذلك النظام.

ملخص:

شهدت السنوات القليلة السابقة تحولا في طريقة تقييم الأداء الاستراتيجي في المؤسسات، من خلال استخدام بطاقة الأداء المتوازن، وذلك بعد فشل الطرق التقليدية في تحقيق الأهداف الاستراتيجية للمؤسسات، حيث كان أول ظهور لبطاقة الأداء المتوازن عام 1992 عندما طور كل من روبرت كابلان وديفيد نورتون نموذجاً لقياس الأداء المتوازن حيث تم الربط بين الاستراتيجية والأداء عن طريق إيجاد علاقة بينهما، واحتوت هذه البطاقة على أربعة محاور أو أبعاد وهي(المحور المالي، العميل، العمليات الداخلية، التعلم والنمو).
