Indigenous languages all over the world are endangered. The wayuunaiki language, spoken by wayuu Colombian ancestral communities, is not the exception. Even though the wayuunaiki is not endangered per se, does not mean that it is not at risk. Along this paper you will understand what the former statement means, and how this reality derives from a predetermined system yielded by a colonial epistemology.
