Every criticism and evaluation of Kierkegaard’s message is made on his grounds and on the basis of his works. The basic criteria for criticism is the criteria Kierkegaard employed to judge his age; namely, Christianity of the New Testament. As he saw it, his task was to define what it took.ma to be a Christian on the basis of the New Testament.
