The Presiding Eldership From A Layman's Standpoint, John G. Clinkscales
Methodist Historical Society Addresses
The article addresses the presiding eldership, an office in the Methodist Church that is part of the superintendancy of the work of the clergy. It argues that the structure of the Methodist Church has kept the church healthy, and that the presiding elders are an important part of that structure.

Kings Mountain Baptist Association Minute Books
The 1920 meeting of the Kings Mountain Baptist Association took place at Ross Grove Baptist Church in Shelby, NC. The introductory sermon was delivered by J. M. Kester. Plans were made to raise money for the new Boiling Springs Memorial Building. The Special Committee on Evangelistic Work recommends that the Association's churches form groups that will hold meetings and create Mobile Schools to help plan evangelism activities. The Women's Missionary Union endorsed the movement to build a hospital in Cleveland County.
