The Robert Gilchrist family papers consist primarily of correspondence from three major, related families--the Andersons, the Wilsons, and the Gilchrists. Included among the correspondence are news clippings, diaries, journals and scrapbooks. Several books part of the collection pertain to Lebanon, Ohio and the Little Miami Railroad. The material contained in the Anderson family papers is correspondence of Isaac Anderson and his children. There are several folders of Joseph Anderson's letters to his wife, Jane Gilchrist Anderson, and Joseph' s personal business documents. The Wilson family papers are concentrated on Joseph Wilson's and Mary Wilson Gilchrist's legal actions concerning the administration …

Unsigned speech on agriculture by Albert Gallatin Jenkins and items relating to daughter Margaret comprise most of the collection. Includes photographs of General Jenkins and the Homestead at Greenbottom, West Virginia, a letter from Margaret Jenkins to the students of the Upper Greenbottom School (1934) and also newspaper clippings about the controversial use of the home site by the West Virginia Department of Natural Resources.

The Octofoil
The Octofoil is the offical publication of the Ninth Infantry Division Association, Inc., an organization formed by the officers and men of the 9th Infantry Division in order to perpetuate the memory of fallen comrades, preserve the esprit de corps of the Division, promote peace and serve as an information bureau about the 9th Infantry Division. The Association is made up of 9th Infantry veterans from WWII and Vietnam, spouses, widows and lineal descendants.

While traveling from Dallas, Texas to Fort Worth via the Dallas-Fort Worth Turnpike, one crosses about 1,200 acres of land on the outskirts of West Dallas which once accommodated an experiment to fulfill one of the nineteenth century's most noble dreams- the dream that man could establish social, economic, and political justice through some type of communal association. Today the area is bounded on the north by the Trinity River, on the south by the Old Fort Worth Highway, on the east by Hampton Road, and on the west by Westmoreland Avenue. Antonio De Mendoza: First Viceroy Of Mexico, Hubert J. Miller
History Faculty Publications and Presentations
As Mexico's first viceroy, Antonio de Mendoza's most noteworthy achievement was his laying the basis of colonial government in New Spain which continued, with modifications, for 300 years. Although he was lenient in dealing with the shortcomings of his Indian and Spanish subjects, he took a firm stand in dealing with the rebellious Indians in the Mixton War and the Cortes faction which threatened the Viceregal rule. His primary concern was to keep New Spain for the crown while protecting the Indians from want and inhumanity. Focusing on the institutions he founded and developed, this booklet provides a study of …
