Included are report cards, sympathy letters written to Stamps on the death of his aunt and guardian, Sallie Hills, letters from friends serving in World War II, and a small notebook of flower orders kept by Stamps while in the Air Force.

The Kentucky Humanities Council is an independent, nonprofit affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities committed to providing programs and services that facilitate an understanding and appreciation of Kentucky’s cultural heritage and future. The Council’s program catalog features scholars from across the Commonwealth who make presentations on a myriad of humanities topics. Scraps of a report signed by Banks in which he verifies the authenticity of eight Babylonian tablets and indicates that they contain an inventory of items found in a temple dating from around 2350 B.C. Banks was used as one of the prototypes for the fictional character, Henry W. Jones, Jr., of the popular "Indiana Jones" movies.
