Greenwood informs Langer that tribal members from the Three Affiliated Tribes recently visited to discuss the recommendation of Frank Gordon for superintendent of the Fort Berthold Indian Agency. Greenwood says that they were informed that Gordon would be given every consideration.

Colonial soldiers, particularly those from French West Africa, suffered a great deal because of their forced involvement in the conflict.
