此為嶺南大學超社成立十二週年,即1947年畢業前夕,由各超社同學投稿編輯而成的紀念特刊。超社同學從康樂校園就學起始至畢業前的十二年,首篇《超社春秋》一文將期間超社同學歷經戰亂,遷校流徙等往事以章回小說的形式闡述,當中體現了嶺南於戰亂時曾遷校青山及大村,及當時學生的學習生活狀況。

其他文章亦多圍繞社員學習生活的逸事,從中可了解個別社員的性格特長,超社整體於運動方面於校內是數一數二的佳績,當中反映社員透過與其他級社同學間互相競技,而體現超社團隊精神。

特刊編於社員即將畢業離校之際,故文章亦有反映社員對超社往績的評價,對母社的不捨及對日後社長遠發展的建議和期望。編者希望以此特刊報導社友近況,同時亦藉此引起社員對社的關懷和興趣,彼此間保持聯絡。
