This collection is predominantly newspapers from 2008-2011 and magazines from the same time period. Other items include campaign paraphernalia such as a t-shirt, campaign signs (one covered in anti-Obama graffiti), campaign buttons, bumper stickers, and an advertisement for the coverage of the 2008 election by Arizona Daily Star, and VHS recordings of the election, inauguration of President Obama, and President Obama’s first 100 days in office

The Robert Tamplin Collection is composed of two broad series of materials: personal papers and professional papers related to Tamplin’s life as a CBS executive. Personal papers, comprising a portion of only one box, include greeting cards (mostly Christmas), personal correspondence, clippings, financial materials, and yearbooks. Professional papers and materials, comprising approximately 43 boxes, include correspondence and memos, planning materials for shows and events, show schedules and contact information, employee newsletters, script drafts for television and radio shows, professional magazines and publications, materials from Tamplin’s office, resumes, programs for plays and events, and audiovisual materials of programs that Tamplin directed …

This collection consists of 18 Panasonic Mini DV tapes of interviews and other raw film used in the creation of the documentary film about Philip Belt titled “Phil Belt and the Forte Piano.” Also included in the collection is a DVD copy of the final documentary along with a booklet documenting major life events for Belt. The DVD contains the following chapters: 1. Road Trip, 2. Introducing Phil Belt, 3. Getting Into Piano Building, 4. The Historical Performance Revival, 5. Phil Belt the Forte Piano Maker, 6. End Credits, Bonus: 1. Growing Up (Phil’s Younger Years).

This collection consists of 57 reels of 16 mm film primarily of family activities and travels abroad dating from 1932 until 1952. Special films of note include footage of coal mines and footage of the 1937 flood in Huntington, West Virginia. Also included are an Eiki film projector, VHS and DVD copies of selected film, and oversize family and business related photographs.
