Research Question: How is the commitment of Spaniards to Catholicism changing with younger generations? And why is this relevant given Spain’s deep roots with the religion?

The Catholic Church and Spain have been highly involved with each other for centuries. It is possible that the Church’s controversies and conservative values are distancing young members from pursuing a stronger relationship with their faith. I predicted that more young Spanish Catholics’ commitment to the Church was wavering because of three potential reasons: increased security and education, child sex abuse scandals involving clergymen, and the institution’s outdated attitudes. The Trends Of Right-Wing Populism In Germany Post-World War Ii, Savannah Green

This paper aims to shed light on the trends of right-wing populism in tandem with immigration rates, economic indicators, and social welfare and active labor market initiatives in Germany after World War II. The current right-wing populist party in Germany, the Alternative for Deutschland, has had a sharp increase in support in recent years and currently sits as the third largest party in Germany. Looking at trends from past right-wing populist parties, I identify the important characteristics of the current climate that allow right-wing populist parties to flourish.

La siguiente investigación explora las representaciones de la mujer-madre en el contexto español a través de la historia del siglo XX y XI. Usa “La niña sin alas” de Paloma Díaz-Mas, “Al colegio” de Josefina Rodríguez Aldecoa, y “Espejismos” de Josefina Rodríguez Aldecoa – tres cuentos de la antología Madres e hijas de Laura Freixas – para analizar tres temas particulares que relatan a la situación de la mujer-madre: el espíritu del sacrificio, el perfeccionismo, y el aislamiento.
