The introduction to this project, entitled "The Value of Writing," discusses the author's experience of writing, both in her personal life and her career as a writing teacher. The main focus is on writing that is done on a regular basis, as with keeping a journal or diary, and how that activity can lead to emotional, psychological and spiritual growth.
