The focus of this project is to illuminate the struggles of having a child addict and how it effects not only the addict but the entire family. Addiction in adolescence is on the rise across the United States. This project investigates the relationships between family members dealing with an addict. The research conducted consisted of finding other familial stories that were similar which had different outcomes. My analysis shows a strong correlation between family members who struggle with having a child addict and the overall results.
