An Unlikely Correspondence: Gps And Body In Place, Patti Pente

This visual essay investigates the significance of GPS technology and the human body in relation to a sense of place. Framed by posthumanism, the poetic images offer an approach to transformative education through a local site. Agency of place is key to this exploration of dynamic relationships with technology, body and the earth. As a creative performance, I executed a series of movements in a place of personal significance, and then further developed the essay through visual poetry.
