An Experimental Investigation Of Spatial Representation In Oil Painting, Roberta Jean Cameron

The purpose of the study was (1) to investigate concepts of spatial representation and to study the spatial means used to achieve them; (2) to integrate these concepts and means with a series of oil paintings; and (3) to present conclusions that would suggest modifications in the candidate's painting techniques.

Nexus is a magazine that began as an insert in the Wright State Guardian student newspaper in 1965 and has since been published semi-regularly. It began only accepting creative writing, but has since expanded to include illustrations, photography and other non-written art forms. Today, it is published in a digital format and accepts submissions from around the country, though it maintains its commitment to the Wright State Community.

It was the purpose of this study (1) to apply metals which are adaptive to the casting of jewelry pieces; (2) to use a variety of methods in casting these pieces, the choices of which are governed by the alloy or alloys employed, and the materials used; and (3) to modify the designs in accordance with the alloy employed, and the methods and materials used.
