The presence of acclaimed artists—who have lived and worked in major cultural centers across the country—enhances the educational opportunities for both undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in the University of Tennessee School of Art. Encore features the work of eleven undergraduate and graduate alumni of the University of Tennessee’s Painting and Drawing program that currently live and work in Nashville, Tennessee. The artwork in Encore highlights nearly 40 years of diverse work that has come out of the Painting and Drawing program.

Exhibiting artists were: Brandon Donahue, Sterling Goller-Brown, Mary Addison Hackett, Briena Harmening, Jodi Hays, David King, Jonathan Lisenby, Rob Matthews, Lakesha Moore, Terry Thacker, and Lain York.
