Logsdon: Basketmaker,” which includes an interview with Walter Logsdon about the traditional basket making process in Edmonson County, Kentucky. Finding aid only for Folklife Archives Project 612. Project conducted in Union County, Kentucky to identify and utilize local folk artists in county elementary schools. Folklorist Amy Davis and fieldworker/folk artist Sue Massek interviewed local folk artists and performers. Afterwards they made presentations in schools about the information they collected and invited some of the artists to perform and/or demonstrate.

Finding aid only for Folklife Archives Project 98. Project entitled "Basket Making in the Mammoth Cave Area." Interviews with basket makers concerning the history, process, marketing and distribution, social attitudes, historical patterns and aesthetics of basket making. Only transcriptions of the interviews were donated. Interviews were conducted by WKU students in Lynwood Montell's Folk Art and Technology class, Fall 1977; also includes one 1974 interview.
