If the Earth is Divine, then is harming Her not sacrosanct? If She is a god, or rather goddess, then is pollution, deforestation, climate change, and environmental degradation not blasphemy? Divinity and sacredness can be used to define societal values and ethics. In this body of work, I bring my experiences and beliefs as a practicing Pagan to the concepts of ecofeminism, a social and academic movement started in the 1970’s that sees a connection between environmental degradation and the oppression of women.
