Viseral Projects, Matthew Conrardy Jan 2020

Viseral Projects, Matthew Conrardy

Undergraduate Honors Theses

A brand’s image, its identity, is established through what the brand is, what it does, where it is going, and how it is unique. The representation of a brand’s identity materializes through the messaging, images, graphics, colors, and typography associated with it. Brand manuals are designed to establish and maintain both the consistency and flexibility of the brand identity.

This manual outlines the visual and verbal applications that currently embody the Viseral Projects brand across the multimedia environment. It includes information outlining the Viseral brand story, identity system,

platforms, and examples of executions. It has been constructed with the anticipation …

Photographic Imagery As A Source For Iconography In Painting And Drawing, Eric Peder Brakken Jan 1972

Photographic Imagery As A Source For Iconography In Painting And Drawing, Eric Peder Brakken

All Master's Theses

Any verbalization of an artistic statement is by its very nature, an inadequate interpretation. However, I feel there is some merit in a concise declaration of my general concepts in the study. This paper represents a summation of the concepts and directions involved in my studio investigation in painting and drawing.

Specifically, it is within the scope of man's altered and effected perception of reality that I have based the studio research.

A Use Of The Visual Metaphor: The Relationship Between The Figure To The Environment, Betty Anne Skalicky Aug 1971

A Use Of The Visual Metaphor: The Relationship Between The Figure To The Environment, Betty Anne Skalicky

All Master's Theses

In this study the human figure was used as a departure. I imposed my own style of drawing on the human form in order to achieve not only the illusion of a threedimensional quality, but to create a personal identification with the image on the part of the artist and the viewer.

I Made Some Prints, Teresa O. Tempero Aug 1971

I Made Some Prints, Teresa O. Tempero

All Master's Theses

In discussing the prints and drawings chosen for this study, I wish to consider mostly subject matter and composition, giving less mention to technique. The three forms of printmaking used are intaglio, collagraph, and woodcut. A specific theme was not chosen for these prints. Since printmaking has been such a relatively new experience of expression for me, I chose to concentrate this study on the printmaking process.

Expansion Systems In Drawing, Anna Jane Licka Jul 1971

Expansion Systems In Drawing, Anna Jane Licka

All Master's Theses

Drawing as a creative mode of expression has maintained in some artistic circles a "puristic doctrine." "Puristic doctrine" in this case means the utilization of characteristic drawing implements and techniques (ie. pen, pencil, ink, charcoal, crosshatching, shading). In contrast to this "puristic doctrine" is what can be termed an "eclectic expression" in art. As applied to drawing in this thesis, an "eclectic expression" will go beyond the traditional techniques by the application of other media such as photo-stencil, stuffed fabric, and three-dimensional tableau considerations. The purpose of this creative thesis is to expand the two-dimensional quality of drawing into a …

A Series Of Figure Drawings, Amy Allen Gierke Aug 1969

A Series Of Figure Drawings, Amy Allen Gierke

All Master's Theses

It is the purpose of this study to create a series of figure drawings by means of experimentation with various materials and techniques, with a brief study on artists and their need and potential to delve in fantasies and mystical realms, just as the candidate will do in certain stages of development.
