The presenters have created three Web-based courses in three different formats; the Business of Art (a cross-disciplinary course in management and art) the history of photography, and principles of management. Each course is demonstrated and the creation processes are explored with the participants.

Carl Sublett (1919 - 2008) was a faculty member in the painting department at the University of Tennessee School of Art. Beginning his teaching career in the 1950s, he retired in 1982. THis catalogue documents a 30 year retrospective of his work, exhibited by the Ewing Gallery in 2000.

Produced in conjunction with a March 2000 exhibition at the Springfield Museum of Art in Springfield, OH curated by Nancy Howell-Koehler. Japanese Kimono Fashion Of The Early Twentieth Century, Annie Van Asche

This paper examines the development of popular kimono fashion from the late 19th century through the mid-20th century. I focus on kimono worn by modem-thinking young women whose wardrobes, by the 1920's, included both new Western and recreated Japanese garments and accessories. The meisen kasuri kimono, the most popular new style of kimono among women living in the growing urban metropolitan centers, is highlighted. It covers an unprecedented historical period of rapid modernization and Westernization of Japan, which brought about societal changes that dramatically--and positively--transformed the lives of Japanese women.
