Post-Colonialism Ahmed Saadawi's "Frankenstein In Baghdad": Textual Representations And Depths And The Aftermath Phrasing, Rami Abu Shehab

The paper aimed to examine "Frankenstein in Baghdad" by the Iraqi novelist Ahmed Saadawi. The text highlighted the impact of the neo-colonial era represented by the United States' invasion of Iraq in 2003, which launched a new stage of colonialism in the twenty-first century. The novel was able to realistically reflect that historical period in terms of the post colonialism context through an imagined text. This novel reflected some features of the post colonialism novels, especially the textual depths, representations, phrasing and effect and the possibility of achieving all these features.
