Sagetrieb was a journal devoted to poets in the Pound-Williams tradition. Vol. 1, no. 1 was published in spring 1982 by the University of Maine in Orono and the last volume was published in 2013/2014. University of Maine English professor Carroll Franklin Terrell was the first editor of the journal.
"The Writing Teacher" publication (1983-1986) was sponsored and published by several English departments of the University of Maine. It was supported in part by the National Poetry Foundation, University of Maine, and in part by a grant from Chancellor Patrick McCarthy.

The Collection is composed of correspondence, financial records, photographs, and plans that were created by Cooper Milliken and his firm, for various clients. The subject of the collection is almost entirely based on his work and is geographically focused around the State of Maine with some outliers in New York and Massachusetts. Some prominent projects included the renovations of Alumni Hall, Fernald Hall and Carnegie Hall at the University of Maine. The collection consists of a series of interviews conducted from 1974 to 1980 by students for a course (IDL 105, Women in Maine: An Autobiographical Approach) taught by Maryann Hartman in the department of Speech and Communications at the University of Maine. Students asked a variety of informants for their opinions about the present and future roles of women in Maine. Each informant discussed this in the context of their own lives and experiences, therefore the individual interviews cover a wide range of topics. Finding Aids
Carroll Franklin Terrell was born in 1917 in Richmond, Maine. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College in 1940, Terrell entered the Army and served in World War II from 1941-1945, attaining the rank of captain. He began teaching at the University of Maine in 1948 and earned his master's degree from the University in 1950. He later earned a Ph.D. from New York University.
Carroll Terrell was an internationally recognized scholar on the poetry of Ezra Pound and served as president of the Ezra Pound Society. He was editor of the Man/Woman and poet series, founder and editor …

Traveling exhibit of photos and oral history text panels based on a series of interviews with Linda J. Lord in which she talks about the work she did for 20 years at Penobscot Poultry, her feelings about being unemployed after Penobscot closed and general conversations about her life in Maine.
The exhibit traveled in 1988-1989 to East Millinocket, Orono, Machias, Portland, and Augusta, with panels, presentations, and forums occurring at each opening. Speakers and panelists included Jay Davis, Bernard Lewis, Dr. Richard Barringer, Dr. Paula Petrik and Carolyn Chute. Primary researchers were Cedric Chatterly and Stephen Cole.
