The FAC or Forward Air Controller had a unique role in interdicting supplies coming from the Hanoi-Haiphong area thru Laos into South Vietnam. In 1969/70, young USAF Capt. Ron Carr flew the OV-10 as a FAC on more than 200 combat missions.
