Kings Mountain Baptist Association Minute Books

The 1913 meeting of the Kings Mountain Baptist Association took place at Zion Baptist Church in Shelby, NC. The introductory sermon was delivered by L. W. Swope. The Boiling Springs High School Class of 1912 donated a memorial arch to the school. The Committee on Education reports record enrollment for Meredith College. the Committee on Baptist Orphanage reports that two dormitories are nearing completion at the Kennedy Memorial Home in Lenoir County. The Association resolved to raise money towards a roof for the house of worship under construction at Wake Forest College.
