Sam…Will Students Again Be A Political Force?, The Maine Campus

Social Justice: Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion

Target: Augusta. A New Statewide Force Prepares To Focus Student Influence On Maine Politics, Jeff W. Beebe

Social Justice: Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion

"SAM" --the word has a familiar ring to it, from the sixties, when the evening news opened with the day's body counts in South Vietnam and conflicting reports of fighter-jet losses in the skies over North Vietnam--'Surface-to-Air-Missile.' Its propellant is in the person of UMO's Peter Simin, and its payload is the interests of 32,000 post-secondary students in Maine.
