This research discusses the fundamentals and obstacles of the religious and cultural tourism development in Hadhramout Governorate, as one of the most important types of tourism. The research raises urgent substantive issues related to finding foundations for the promotion and improvement of energy efficiency in buildings and structures. This research reviews a number of methodological solutions to improve the thermal protection properties in the exterior walls of brick buildings and discusses the issues of improving the use of high-tech facade systems, with a view to maintaining the quality of the indoor climate in the building spaces with minimal energy. The research methodology is based on scientific analysis of the best global experiences that address the walls of innovative buildings adapted to climate.
