A chrysalis refers to the third stage of growth, where a caterpillar metamorphose into a butterfly. The project name represents the transformative stage in life for families grow in strength, independence, and stability. Chrysalis Creek is the place where families will thrive and be well supported with resources for success.

Historic sites play a critical role in shaping a community’s character, and contribute to aesthetic, spatial, and cultural themes that inform future development. Strategic protection of historic sites may also contribute to the sustainable goals of the City as well as the overall health and maintenance of public and private properties. This project analyzes the relationship between land use regulation, community identity, and the intentional design of the built environment.
