Identity is defined as the distinguishing character or personality of an individual. Throughout life, we as individuals, strive to create and uphold a sense of identity. Once our identity is established, we feel more comfortable with ourselves and our surroundings. However, at a larger scale, what happens when a community lacks a sense of identity?
