In a unique architectural project, Sol LeWitt worked on the design of a new synagogue for Congregation Beth Shalom Rodfe Zedek in Chester, Connecticut (1996-2001). This thesis discusses the development of the artist’s ideas in drawings and models, his collaboration with architect Stephen L. Lloyd, and the realization of the project.

The use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) techniques and tools continues to gain popularity in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industry as more companies in the various sectors are utilizing it in one form or another. In this research, the decision-making process of construction firms with respect to the selection of BIM software for use is investigated. Through one on one interviews and gathered survey responses, a framework mapping out the various paths the exist in the decision-making process are explored. Preschoolers that have obtained Non-Accidental Injury (NAI) from familial child abuse are in need of having a unique place for neurorehabilitation in correlation with traditional therapies. My thesis project suggests adding an exhibit annex to an existing giant panda exhibit that will give preschoolers an opportunity to help develop new neuropathways when exposed to mediation and creative activities. Meditation and creative activities are being examined by neuroscientists as an aid in neuroplasticity after brain injury. The purpose of this master’s project thesis is to explore and implement the necessary professional museum practices to care for and preserve the private Vietnam War-era slide collection of Kenneth L. Swain Jr., an Air Force veteran. Through museum practices presented by leading museum professionals, the slide collection was examined and a plan implemented for slide care and maintenance. In conjunction with the preservation of this slide collection, an exhibition was curated in honor of Swain’s unique photo-documentary slide collection.

Generally, AM is the process that allows for a 3d model of an object to be converted into hardware instructions to generate that object layer by layer using a malleable medium such as a plastic. Mission TwentyFive35 identifies the lack of clean water, food sustainability shortcomings, limited access to primary healthcare and education, and the absence of technical and vocational job training as the primary contributors to these extremely impoverished communities.
