This project examines existing pollinator habitats on the University of Kentucky campus and identifies areas of need based on the connectivity of the existing habitats with the use of nontraditional landscape design methods. Pollinators are crucial to Kentucky ecosystems and the pollination of native plants. Given Kentucky’s central location, it offers an abundance of opportunity to create more pollinator habitats and aid in pollinator migration. This study examines the overall size and quality of existing pollinator habitats on campus to identify areas fit for the implementation of new gardens. Electric cars are rapidly gaining popularity across the United States because they are environmentally friendly. The problem is that the United States does not have enough infrastructure to support the number of electric cars expected to be purchased in the next decade. This project strove to fix that problem by converting an old gas station to an electric car charging station that doubled as a roadside attraction.
Pit Stop functions as a charging station, a restaurant, and an exercise/play area for families to stretch their legs between drives. All the parking spots come equipped with an electric car charging unit, …

In the city of Medellín, Colombia, Library Parks were formed as a way of promoting inclusive urbanism. A total of ten parks were produced, one being Biblioteca España. Placed on a steep slope, Biblioteca España had structural failure that caused its collapse. WonderEdge was created as a solution for the replacement of Biblioteca España.
Medellín is known as the “City of Eternal Spring” with an average temperature of 70 degrees occuring year-round. Using this knowledge, WonderEdge was formed to promote the outdoor experience and with that, the view that is produced by the slope. WonderEdge is about the experience that …
