This thesis aims to reconnect Metro Atlanta through the connection and expansion of the public transportation systems currently operating in Metro Atlanta, using the comparative analysis of New York and Atlanta to show the benefits of a unified transportation system. This thesis plans to show potential expansion of the MARTA rail system focusing on the live, work, play, and travel aspects of Metro Atlanta.
