Introduction:Tacoma’s hilltop community has a rich history of community cohesion and social capital with several groups and councils involved in sustaining neighborhood viability. The area itself is a Mecca for cultural activity with various members of different ethnic, social and economic classes. After meeting with community council members and neighborhood leaders it was clear they have unique nodes, districts and landmarks that represent cohesion and residential fondness. Therefore the purpose of this project is to illustrate what residents of the neighborhood identify as community values and assets. Introduction:The presence of Farmers Markets can be beneficial to households of all income levels; however they currently do not have a strong rapport with lower-income communities and Women, Infants and Children (WIC) users. This map displays five alternatives site locations for Tacoma Farmers Markets. These locations are intended to enhance the productivity of Farmers Markets while accommodating not only low-income residents of Tacoma, but maintaining the current accessibility of Farmers Markets for all residents in Tacoma.

Abstract:The purpose of this research was to create the most efficient driving routes for Metro Parks service vehicles using ESRI’s ARC GIS software. Currently the Metro Parks service vehicles do not have predetermined routes, or any sort of tracking devices like GPS. The results of new efficient driving routes include reduced drive time, reduced fuel costs, and more accountability for drivers.

Introduction:There are various forms of air pollution with some of the most common caused by human activities. Some types of air pollution are from point sources and from mobile sources. Point sources of air pollution replaces that are stationary, usually major industrial facilities that put out a certain amount of pollutants each year.
