Nanotechnology As Building Materials And Its Impact On The Quality Of Residential Buildings, Shekha Alrasheed, Hatem El Shafie

Mansoura Engineering Journal

A modern technology called "nanotechnology" has emerged that seeks to environmental design through the use of new technologies and advanced scientific methods in the construction of contemporary architectural edifices. The research problem is the underutilization of nanotechnology in building materials for residential buildings due to the lack of knowledge of the benefits and cost of this technology. The importance of the study lies in the use of building materials based on nanotechnology with new properties and high performance that address the problems in current building materials so as to apply sustainability standards and provide efficiency for residential buildings to suit …

Filters Used For Roundness Error Evaluation: An Experimental Comparison Study, Fatma Elerian Sep 2022

Filters Used For Roundness Error Evaluation: An Experimental Comparison Study, Fatma Elerian

Mansoura Engineering Journal

Filtration is a necessary step in roundness measurement. The type of filter affects value of roundness error. There were many studies that explain the differences between filters theoretically and few of them have studied the differences practically. This study aims at introducing a practical comparison of the following filters (2CR50, 2CR75, 2CRPC50, 2CRPC75, Gaussian and no filter) in order to demonstrate the effect of each on roundness error values. RA-120 ROUNDTEST instrument was used for measuring out of roundness of 25 turned workpieces. Least squares reference circle (LSC), minimum zone reference circle (MZC), maximum inscribed reference circle (MIC) and minimum …

Using Heritage Sites At Bahariya Oasis On The Tourism Urban Development, Medhat Ahmed Shabaan Samra Aug 2022

Using Heritage Sites At Bahariya Oasis On The Tourism Urban Development, Medhat Ahmed Shabaan Samra

Mansoura Engineering Journal

Throughout the tourism planning process for the Bahariya Oasis area, the current study aims to prepare this area to become an applicable model that converts the values of cultural heritage resources into economic values within the tourism industry and the establishment of tourism projects in this area. The Bahariya Oasis area is characterized by many Valuable regions that have not been included on the tourism map by the Egyptian government. To achieve those objectives, the researcher adopted the 'Analytic-Descriptive Approach', as it is suitable for this study throughout reviewing the literature related to the research subject, describing the current situation, …
