After numerous iterations and red lines we've come to create pages that accurately describe the visual and physical properties of the world renowned institute. Not only did we form an understanding of a space that we were once unfamiliar but we were able to share our knowledge with our classmates and the visiting professors.

The conditions within the separate mechanical floors and the minimally connected towers for the offices create such unique spaces that were a vital part of the design of Louis Kahn. Architecture has the power to strengthen community bonds, support a healthy life style and enrich individual lives. The Red Bird Water Kiosk seeks to achieve all three of these on the site of the Red Bird Mission campus, located deep in the Appalachian Mountains of Clay County, Kentucky. This is an area where most live below the poverty line, and about 64 percent of water sources are contaminated.
