Occupational Health And Safety In Ghana: An Agenda For Reform, Al Bavon

It is generally accepted that accident rates in industry, agriculture. construction and transport in developing countries are at a several times higher level than in the industrialized countries. This paper makes a case for addressing the occupational health and safety concerns of Ghanaian workers. It posits that current legislation in this area does not meet the standards of a modern workers' compensation system.
