The Palmaris Longus (PL) is a slender; spindle shaped elongated muscle which is visible as a small tendon between other superficial muscles of the forearm, i.e., pronator teres, flexor carpi radialis and the flexor carpi ulnaris. The PL muscle is a highly variable muscle. However, the most common variation is its absence, which is more commonly seen on the left side. There is a wide scope of variation in the prevalence of absence of this muscle in different racial groups, which varies from 3.1% in some populations up to 63.9% in others. Background: Anomalous origin of the left coronary artery from the pulmonary artery (ALCAPA) is a rare congenital cardiac anomaly. The majority of patients die within the first year of life if left untreated. However, a few patients can be asymptomatic and survive into adulthood due to well-developed collateral between the left coronary artery and the dilated right coronary artery. At the age of 18 years old, he presented with a sudden death, and his autopsy …

Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) represents a major leading cause of death among all racial and ethnic groups of infants between one month and one year of age. The occurrence of such death is extremely rare particularly in twins. Young breast cancer patients have a lower rate of survival than old age. Yet, breast self-examination makes women more "breast aware", which in turn may lead to an earlier diagnosis of breast cancer. We aimed to describe the degree of awareness, knowledge and practice regarding self-breast examination among An-Najah National University female students in Palestine.
