This study identified the factors associated with adequate knowledge, attitude, and practice of exclusively breastfeeding women who visit maternity healthcare clinics in Palestine. This study was conducted in a cross-sectional design. A pre-tested questionnaire was used to collect the data. The women were recruited from different maternity care and primary healthcare clinics. In this study, 51 (51.0%) of the exclusively breastfeeding women reported that they did not receive counseling on breastfeeding from healthcare providers on the last visit to the maternity clinic before delivery, and 43 (43.0%) of the women reported that they did not receive counseling on breastfeeding from …

Antimicrobials resistance and irrational use of antimicrobials (AMs) are a worldwide problem. The objective of this study is to assess knowledge, attitudes and practices about an-timicrobial resistance (AMR) and AM prescribing among physicians in the northern districts of the occupied Palestinian territories. A cross-sectional study using a self-administered ques-tionnaire was conducted at governmental hospitals in the northern districts of the occupied Palestinian territories to assess knowledge, attitudes and practice of physicians about antibi-otic prescribing and AMR. Genetic disorder is a health problem that is caused by a defect in the individual's DNA. In Palestine, there is no statistics about mortality rate of children who suffer from genetic disorders. Alendronate is one of the most commonly prescribed drugs for the treatment of osteoporosis and other diseases characterized by increased bone resorption. Poor compliance increases the fracture risks, and ultimately treatment failure. This study aims to evaluate Palestinian pharmacist's knowledge of the proper administration instructions, interactions and side effects of Alendronate as this significantly affect the medical effectiveness and the development of adverse effects. Self- administered questionnaires were completed by 230 pharmacists working in community pharmacies in the northern area of the West Bank.
