Background: Hypertension (NTN) is very common among the hemodialysis (HD) population, and controlling high blood pressure (BP) is essential to decrease the risk of cardiovascular diseases and mortality in HD patients. This study aimed to assess the prevalence of hypertension among HD patients, the percentage of patients who reached predialysis and post-dialysis recommended goals of BP, and to find any possible association between controlled HTN and some socio-demographic and clinical factors. Ocular complications are common in patients with end-stage renal disease treated with hemodialysis. Disability due to visual impairment in these patients represents a global pub-lic health problem. The study aimed to estimate the hemodialysis effect on intraocular pres-sure (IOP) fluctuation and related factors. A cross-sectional study of 60 patients with he-modialysis (120 eyes) from the hemodialysis unit at a major tertiary teaching hospital in Palestine. Clinical tests were carried out using the Goldman application tonometry and the volk 90d non-contact slit lamp lens. Participant's mean age was 55.5¬±12.6 years. Patients on hemodialysis usually need management of diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, anemia, and bone mineral disorder. This study was conducted to asses prescribing pattern, to evaluate compliance to treatment guidelines and goals of therapy in hemodialysis patients. This study was an observational retrospective cohort study; it was conducted at Hebron governmental hospital / Palestine. All adult patients on chronic hemodialysis were included. All information were collected from governmental electronic health record (AviCenna HIS program), and patients were asked to answer some questions.
