The aim of the study is to develop a convenient method for the synthesis of O-chloroacetylthymol and to propose the mechanism of the O-chloroacetylation reaction. Thin-layer chromatography of chloroacetylation and nucleophilic substitution reaction products was studied and their composition was confirmed by reference substances. Nucleophilic exchange reactions of O-chloroacetylthymol with sodium oxalate, sodium tartrate, potassium rhodanides were studied. Favorable conditions for carrying out the nucleophilic exchange reaction were searched and 3 new substances unknown in the literature were synthesized. The structure of the synthesized substances was proved by IR and NMR spectra.

The aim of this work is the synthesis and study of the physicochemical properties of the complex compound of copper (II) acetylacetonate with a 2-aminobenzimidazole derivative. A heteroligand copper (II) complex compound containing acetylacetone and 2-amino-1-methylbenzimidazole was synthesized for the first time. The structure of the synthesized coordination compound was studied by SEM-EDX, IR spectroscopy, and thermogravimetric analysis. It has been established that in the complex 2-amino-1-methylbenzimidazole is coordinated monodentately to the copper ion through the heterocyclic nitrogen atom and, in this case, a complex of tetragonal-bipyramidal structure is formed.

The aim of the research is study the mechanism of calcium silicate hydrates (CSH) interaction with an aqueous solution of copper chloride (CuCl2) to further develop optimal parameters of the technological process of wastewater treatment from copper ions. The effect of the temperature and duration of the process, the concentration of CaCl2 and the CSH/CuCl2 molar ratio on the synthesis of copper silicate hydrate was studied. X-ray, IR-spectroscopic and chemical analyzes methods confirmed the formation of copper silicate hydrate.

The aim of this work is to synthesize highly swellable superabsorbent hydrogels based on starch copolymers. To achieve this goal, mineral-containing superabsorbent hydrogels based on starch, acrylamide, binder and initiator were synthesized. The optimal synthesis conditions were determined and studies were carried out on the influence of the molar ratios of the starting substances on the composition and physicochemical properties of the synthesized superabsorbent hydrogel. In the course of research, the optimum copolymerization temperature was 60 ° C, and the reaction time was 3 hours.

The purpose of this study is the synthesis and study of a chelating sorbent for the extraction of ions of non-ferrous and noble metals. To achieve this goal, a sulfur-containing chelating sorbent based on carbamide, formaldehyde, and dithizone was synthesized and studied. The purpose of the study was the synthesis and study of the structure of mixed complexes of palmitate, calcium oleate with acetamide, nicotinamide and thiocarbamide. The mixed coordination compounds of palmitate and calcium oleate were synthesized. The composition, individuality, thermal behavior, methods of coordinating the palmitate and oleate fragments, acetamide, nicotinamide and thiocarbamide molecules have been established. Comparison of the diffraction patterns of calcium palmitate and oleate, free ligand molecules and synthesized compounds showed the mismatch of the diffractograms, conseqently that the synthesized complexes have an individual crystal lattice different from the starting materials. The aim of this work is to obtain bulk textured superconducting ceramics based on glass-crystalline precursors of the Bi1.7Pb0.3Sr2Ca(n-1)CunOy (n=5-9) series. Technologies for obtaining superconducting materials are presented. The advantages of melt methods and “Super Fast Aloys Quenching–T” technology is shown. Compositions, methods of synthesis and study of properties of precursors and ceramics obtained by solar energy are presented. The interrelation of the morphology of glass-crystalline precursors and superconducting ceramics based on them is revealed. Considering that many derivatives of bis carbamates have different biological activity, it was intuitive to produce a targeted synthesis of new derivatives of bis carbamates by the interaction of hexamethylene diisocyanate with 3,5-diode-4-hydroxybenzoic acid and 2,4,6-triiodophenol (1: 2 mol, respectively) in freshly distilled dry pyridine at 95-110 оC for 6 hours, the corresponding derivatives were obtained - methylene bis carbamates. Experimental studies have been conducted to identify the acute toxicity and radiopaque properties of the synthesized new N, -hexamethylene bis (2,6-diode-4-carboxyphenylcarbamate).
