The Twentieth Century Club and the Booker T. Washington club of this city will have a party at Riverside park, Monday, June 7, from 1 until 5 o'clock for all the colored children in the public schools who are promoted this year.

Large number of reservations have already been made at the Chamber of Commerce for the noon-day luncheon next Wednesday, when the speaker of the day will be Colonel Ralph D. Cole of Columbus. The ladies of the Calvary Baptist church will have large of the dinner, the chairman being Mrs. Dana Jones.

DAVIS TO TELL OF MARKET PROBLEMS

Subject Announced For Address At Luncheon On Wednesday

"Market Problems and the High Cost of Living" will be the subject of the address to be given at the noon-day luncheon at the Chamber of Commerce Wednesday by V. H. Davis, chief of the Ohio bureau of markets, Columbus.

Word was received this morning from Mr. Davis that he would attend this meeting with the greatest of pleasure and interest. The luncheon will be in charge of the agriculture committee, French Severns being the chairman.
