The primary object of this research is to provide a set of data that indicates whether or not humans are having a significant impact on the potential future fossil record of freshwater ostracods due to acid rain. To collect this data, the author will construct a model fossil record for the ostracod assemblages in an area of Lake Erie. In this model the author will explore the differences before and after human involvement/contamination/degradation of the surrounding environment and acidification/ contamination of Lake Erie. For this project, the author conducted twelve music sessions with a 3-year old child diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorder- Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS). The majority of the sessions were exploratory in nature, seeking to illuminate upon specific questions regarding attention span, client interaction, and speech development. Music sessions were video-recorded and analyzed using Scribe 4.0.6, which allows the user to code video into various segments, each corresponding to specific behaviors/events. The session data analysis reveals a lack of consistent trends in behavior, many of which are attributable to the subject’s age. Observational data identifies various areas of improvement in client …

The Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, Balanced Inventory of Desirable Responding, and the Body Shape Questionnaire were administered to examine the relationship between self esteem, body image, and online impression management in relation to Facebook usage.Responses from 103 female college students revealed that users with a heavier BMI had less pictures posted on their profile, engaged in less impression management, and had nearly half as fewer friends than users with a lower BMI. This project takes a systematic approach to the analysis of Korngold’s song cycle, Sechs einfache Lieder (Bjørn Ramberg and Kristin Gjesdal). First, the author will examine what the genre "Lied" is, then the reader will learn about the composer, and finally the reader will discover the meaning behind the poetry to which the cycle is set.
