Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences

This paper investigates a nonlinear Duffing equation with a variable time lag. By using a fixed point theorem, weighted pseudo almost periodic functions and differential inequality techniques, we establish new criteria for existence, uniqueness and globally exponential stability of weighted pseudo almost periodic solutions. An example with its numerical simulation is given to show the applicability of the proposed results. The results obtained is new and complements that found in the literature.

Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences

In a recent days, progressive hybrid censoring scheme based on combination of Type-I and Type-II progressive censoring schemes has been discussed and studied quite extensively in literature of reliability analysis. In this paper, we use the entropy decomposition in progressive hybrid censoring data to obtain expression in a simple form for the entropy of progressively hybrid Type-I and Type-II censored data. Moreover, We compute the entropy in progressive hybrid Type-1 and Type II censored samples for the scaled exponential distribution to illustrate the existence of the presented method.

Analytical Evaluation Of The Integral Of Any Order Polynomials On Tetrahedral Regions, Mao T. Murillo, Julio C. Carrillo

Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences

This paper presents an analytical method to set out the integral of any polynomial function f(x,y,z) on a tetrahedral region T by using its four vertexes. The method uses a coordinate transformation which involves the four vertexes of the tetrahedron, whose Jacobian is simple. The last integral is not difficult to solve given that recurrence formula is very simple, furthermore we have developed an algorithm which can evaluate the integral when integrating function is generated by several multiplications of polynomials without necessity of develop the products. This method can be used in finite element method because the most functions involved …

Product Based Business Decision Making For Enhanced Information Retrieval Based Root Cause Analysis, S. Subitha, S. Sujatha

Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences

Business decision making has become complex due to increased online e-commerce activities (purchases). Though profitable, this has reduced personalized interactions with buyers, hence leaving the organizations in the leeward side of user’s feedbacks and requirements. Social networking sites provide a base platform for users to interact with their peers, also providing a platform for organizations to leverage the missed feedbacks and requirements. However, the huge amount of content (less relevant and more irrelevant) present in such domains makes appropriate data retrieval a complex task. This paper presents an architecture that can be used to effectively retrieve information from heterogeneous data …

Performance Evaluation Of Priority Based Obs Networks With Negative Bursts, D. Veera Vanitha, M. Sabrigiriraj, D. Sumitha Nov 2017

Performance Evaluation Of Priority Based Obs Networks With Negative Bursts, D. Veera Vanitha, M. Sabrigiriraj, D. Sumitha

Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences

In Optical Burst Switching networks there is a need for the promising solution to minimize the burst loss. When a burst enters into the ingress node of the network and finds the server free, burst transmission takes place normally. If the server is busy, the burst would enter into the buffer at the ingress node and the burst retransmission takes place after sometime or the burst leaves the network as impatient burst. This reduces number of bursts being processed in the network. To avoid burst loss, buffering and retransmission techniques are combined. The effect due to the presence of positive …

Applied Mathematics & Information Sciences

In Mobile Ad-Hoc Network all mobile nodes are communicated in the absence of access point. The previous fault tolerant routing in ad hoc network does not focus on real time issues in packet forwarding. Due to mobility of mobile node causes the frequent link changes, path may break frequently which leads to network degradation. To solve the path failure and packet dropping, a new protocol called Fuzzy logic based Reliable Stability enhanced Fault Routing Protocol (FRSFRP) is proposed to improve the network performance. In this protocol, there are three phases. In first phase, load balanced routing is established from source …

By determining inhomogenity and calculating zeros the illumination is completely removed. By iterating the convolution, the edges are also preserved. Many of the algal species …
