Journal of General - Procedural Dermatology & Venereology Indonesia

Photodermatoses cover the skin’s abnormal reactions to sunlight, usually to its ultraviolet (UV) component or visible light. Etiologically, photodermatoses can be classified into 4 categories: (1) immunologically mediated photodermatoses (idiopathic photodermatoses); (2) drug- or chemical-induced photosensitivity; (3) hereditary photodermatoses; and (4) photoaggravated dermatoses. The incidence of photodermatoses in the pediatric population is much lower than in adults, Polymorphous light eruption (PMLE) is the most common form of photodermatoses in children, followed by erythropoietic protoporphyria. Under such system, the authority to conduct judicial review is divided/spread to the two judicial organs, each with its own scope of review; namely, the Supreme Court/Mahkamah Agung reviews regulations below the level of Law (Undangundang), while the Constitutional Court/Mahkamah Konstitusi reviews the same against the Constitution (constitutional review). Competition Merger Review For Cross-Border Mergers And Acquisitions In Indonesia, Zulheri Zulheri

Indonesia Law Review

This article aimed at expressing ideas on a legal construction of competition merger review (CMR) on Crossborder Mergers and Acquisitions (CBM&A) that have Indonesian legal dimension. The problem has been triggered by the lack of CMR guidelines for CBM&A to nurture a fair and sustainable business competition (FSBC). Consequently, the existing guideline is inadequate for reviewing CBM&A proposals which have a multi-jurisdiction dimension character. As a result, merging (gigantic) companies doing business in Indonesia have enormous opportunities to engage in anti-competitive behavior in the domestic market. In its turn, it brings the impact of reducing competition itself whereby national companies …

This article examines the variety of meaning towards violence against women in Aliansi Laki-laki Baru’s social movement practice as a social movement that focuses on issues regarding male engagement in ending violence against women and achieving gender equality. Using ethnographic methods, I argue that social movement, particularly Aliansi Laki-laki Baru, could not be understood as monolithic and homogeneous entity because its participants could have various meanings on violence against women. While violence against women could be contextualized as Aliansi Laki-laki Baru’s main focus, participants in ALB could construct their own meaning on ‘violence against women’ as a sociocultural phenomenon. Furthermore, …
